Raphael Miro Holzer
Raphael Miro Holzer est un interprète, chorégraphe et pédagogue de la danse. Né à Vienne en 1994, il a obtenu un diplôme en éducation des loisirs avant d'étudier l'éducation du mouvement et de la performance (éducation de la danse) à l'Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität (Linz, Autriche), où il a reçu une bourse d'honneur à la Buehnenwerstatt Graz. Sa volonté de vivre dans un environnement multiculturel l'a conduit à Barcelone (Espagne), dans le cadre d'un programme Erasmus à l'Institut del Teatre. Plus tard, il a décidé d'obtenir sa licence dans cette université. Au cours de sa carrière, Raphael a appris et travaillé avec certains des plus grands noms de la danse contemporaine, tels que Lance Gries (compagnie Trisha Brown), Lorena Nogal (La Veronal Company) et Evgeny Kozlov (Do -Theater St. Petersburg). Il a notamment été fortement inspiré par Veronica Cendoyas, alors qu'il faisait partie de son chef-d'œuvre "BOGUMER". Il a été nommé directeur du mouvement de la pièce de théâtre "ESTRIPtis", écrite par Manel Dueso et mise en scène par Dobrin Plamenov. Par ailleurs, la première pièce chorégraphique de Raphaël - BABEL IN PROGRESS - a été présentée pour la première fois au Nunart (Barcelone) et au Teatre Alegria (Terrassa), dans le cadre du Festival Transversal. La représentation a mis en évidence son talent et son langage créatif, en recevant des commentaires très positifs du public et des dramaturges présents. Actuellement, Raphael travaille à la fois dans le domaine du théâtre et de la danse. Sa vision artistique se concentre sur son intérêt pour l'exploration du rôle du langage dans la danse contemporaine et sur la manière de combiner la danse avec d'autres expressions culturelles.

Raphael Miro Holzer is a performer, choreographer and dance pedagogue. Born in Vienna in 1994, he completed a diploma in Leisure Education before studying Movement and Performance Studies (Dance Education) at the Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität (Linz, Austria), where he received an Honour Scholarship at Buehnenwerstatt Graz. His will to experience a multicultural environment took him to Barcelona (Spain), as part of an Erasmus Programme at the Institute del Teatre. Later on he decided to complete his BA degree at this university. During his career, Raphael has been learning and working with some of the greatest names of contemporary dance, such as Lance Gries (Trisha Brown company), Lorena Nogal (La Veronal Company) and Evgeny Kozlov (Do -Theater St. Petersburg). In particular, he was strongly inspired by Veronica Cendoyas, while he was part of her masterpiece “BOGUMER”. He was appointed to be the movement director of the Theater Piece “ESTRIPtis”, written by Manel Dueso and directed by Dobrin Plamenov. Moreover, Raphael's first choreographic piece - BABEL IN PROGRESS - was debuted at Nunart (Barcelona) and Teatre Alegria (Terrassa), part of the Transversal Festival. The performance highlighted his talent and creative language, by receiving very positive feedback from the audience and dramaturges present. Currently, Raphael has been working both in theatre and dance. His artistic vision focuses on his interest in exploring the role of language in contemporary dance and how to combine dance with other cultural expressions.
