Following studies in graphic design, stimulated by an interest in illustration, I came into contact with an association of visual artists (Association des artistes de LaSalle) and explored printmaking at the Atelier de gravure Glypto. I approach visual arts by combining digital art and printmaking. I let myself be inspired by textures, shapes, contrasts. I like to find beauty in the unexpected, chance happenings that I then exploit through a work of composition and cropping. Cutting, digitizing, framing, hiding, arranging, bringing out: digital printmaking offers these possibilities. My creative process remains guided by reflexes acquired in applied arts. I question myself on the intention of communication; I think about the form and the support to be implemented; I look for meaningful graphic elements; I welcome constraints as a driving force for creativity. I seek to infuse sensitivity, meaning and poetry into my creations and to waltz between the limits of the figurative and abstract.
