Labdhi Shah
Labdhi Shah est une artiste autodidacte basée à Ahmedabad, en Inde. Elle se spécialise dans les œuvres d'art peintes à la main, créées à partir de l'intuition sans aucune référence ou pré-croquis, distillant l'expression la plus pure de son émotion dans son art.
L'art cherche à transmettre la vérité de l'expérience humaine, dans toute sa complexité. Son effort en tant qu'artiste consiste à partager la foi qu'elle a dans la capacité d'aimer et à accepter le caractère unique de chaque être humain, indépendamment de son origine, de sa couleur, de son genre et de sa culture. Elle travaille à l'aquarelle, à l'acrylique, au fusain, à la craie et à l'encre. Son travail a été présenté dans de nombreuses revues d'art du monde entier et a été exposé virtuellement à l'occasion du festival "Collective Impact", A Light in the darkness, et Art in Adversity. Son installation artistique sur le thème de l'amour, intitulée "Rainbow of emotions", a été présentée au Festival d'art Abhivyakti 2020. Son travail est actuellement exposé à "Hope - Revolution" à la galerie Stay Home, Paris, TN, USA. Économiste, psychologue clinique et art-thérapeute de formation, elle se passionne pour les voyages et l'étude de la complexité humaine. |
Labdhi Shah is a self-taught artist based in Ahmedabad, India. She specializes in finger-painted art works created from intuition without any reference or pre-sketch, distilling the purest expression of her emotion into her art.
Art seeks to convey the truth of the human experience, in all its complexity. Her effort as an artist is to share the faith she has in the capacity of love, and to accept the uniqueness of every human being irrespective of race, color, gender, and culture. She works with watercolor, acrylic, charcoal, chalk and ink. Her work has been featured in numerous art magazines around the world, and has been exhibited virtually at: “Collective Impact”, A Light in the darkness, and Art in Adversity. Her participatory art installation on the theme of love, titled ‘Rainbow of emotions’ was featured at the Abhivyakti Art Festival 2020. Her work is currently on view at “Hope - Revolution” in the Stay Home Gallery, Paris, TN, USA. An economist, a clinical psychologist, and an art therapist by training, her passions include traveling and studying human complexity. |
