Emily Spooner
Emily Spooner est une artiste interdisciplinaire basée à Montréal, au Québec. Son intérêt pour la psychologie a favorisé une pratique artistique qui explore la psyché humaine à travers un processus créatif cyclique, alternant entre la création de formes libres et l'analyse ciblée. Le travail de Spooner a été présenté dans diverses expositions de groupe à travers Montréal, notamment l'exposition Five Crucial Tips to Outrun Marina Abramovic dans le cadre de l'édition 2017 du festival Art Souterrain. En 2019, elle a été sélectionnée pour faire partie de la deuxième cohorte d'ARTCH, une initiative d'Art Souterrain et de CJE Montréal Centre-Ville. Elle a obtenu son BFA à l'Université Concordia en 2020.

Emily Spooner is an interdisciplinary artist based in Montréal, Québec. Her interest in psychology has fostered an artistic practice that explores the human psyche through a cyclical creative process, alternating between free-form creation and focused analysis. Spooner’s work has been shown in various group shows throughout Montréal, most notably the exhibition Five Crucial Tips to Outrun Marina Abramovic as part of the 2017 edition of the Art Souterrain Festival. In 2019, she was selected to be part of the second cohort of ARTCH, an initiative of Art Souterrain and CJE Montréal Centre-Ville. She received her BFA from Concordia University in 2020.
